EIHP is a wholly state-owned, non-profit scientific institution financed on a per-project basis through the execution of project development contracts won following international and national competitive biddings.

Today, the Institute has 89 employees, of which 84 with higher education qualifications, 17 PhD (in various fields).

Development of the energy system and relations within require the acquisition of new knowledge and competences by all the actors in the energy sector and state administration, as well as the education of citizens. Education and provision of information is becoming the Institute’s increasingly significant activity, which requires the continuous professional training of our experts and their active participation in educating others. The Institute implements its mission in cooperation with numerous scientists and institutions from Croatian and abroad, and is taking over a leading role in energy development in the wider region and beyond.

The Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania (CIHEAM/MAICh) is a constituent Institute of the International Centre of Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies (CIHEAM), an Intergovernmental Organization aiming for the development of a global, innovative and committed vision for the Mediterranean by promoting knowledge, proposing tangible solutions and sharing experiences & best practices.

DOOR (Society For Sustainable Development Design) is a civil society organization of experts devoted to the promotion of sustainable energy development, founded in 2003. We have successfully implemented more than 100 projects with goals ranging from climate change mitigation, encouraging citizens’ participation in sustainable energy policy-making, improving education about renewable energy sources and alleviating energy poverty.

The LK-Stmk is the Styrian Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry. LK-Stmk was established in 1929 as representation of interests of Styrian farmers. Each Styrian of the about 40.000 agricultural companies is member of LK-Stmk by Styrian law. Through its intensive advice activity in the last 20 years LK-Stmk played adecisive role that Styria developed into a model region in the field of the production of heat and electricity based on biomass and biogas as well as biofuels for transportation purposes.
